Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India is a movie actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema, along with some appearances in Malayalam. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri for Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child performer in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work in projects that weren't Malayalam in 2015. The actress also signed on to appear in multiple Tamil film simultaneously. Her debut film is A. A. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which was a co-production with Vikram Prabhu. However, the film did not perform well at the box office. To accommodate larger projects, she was forced to cancel projects she'd already begun working on. This comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick films. Additionally, Dhanush and she played as the main characters on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film has been in the process of being delayed, and there are reports of release after September, 2020 with a brand name change to Janakitho Nenu. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
