Aaliyah Haughton made headlines in 1994, when she dropped her debut album Age Ain't nothing but a number. The album, launched when she was only 15 years old was certified Gold. The album was a collaboration that was highly in the style of R. Kelly and it placed her in the spotlight. In 1996, she released her second album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. It contained the hit number one single If Your girl only had known. Aaliyah achieved international recognition for her R&B singing through the release of this album. In 2000 she appeared as a character in Romeo Must Die, a romance/action movie with Jet-Li. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. In 2002, she was able to play the film vampire Queen of the Damned which was inspired by Anne Rice's Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels followed, which featured Zee as her character. The singer has received four Grammy nominations between 1999 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. The actress is of Indian descent and was born in Connecticut. Mann is a contraction of her husband's final name Mankad. Aarti is both Aarti as well as Aarti. Majumdar. The acting career of her began in the mid 2000's, with a few roles on TV and films. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She also appeared in several commercials, including Volvo and other major automobile brands. She lives at Los Angeles along with her husband, daughter and pursues her acting career.
